Laborama is the trade association for distributors and manufacturers of laboratory equipment and accessories.
In 1936, the association started as a trade union chamber under the name UDIAS. In 1965, the change was initiated to a non-profit organisation. From 01/09/2014, the association continues under the name Laborama.
Today Laborama represents nearly 100 companies.
It then changed to a non-profit organisation which currently groups almost 100 companies. With their products, their services and their specialists, Laborama's members contribute to the development of the Belgian economy, the quality of our environment and health care, the reliability of our food and the creation of new products, research methods and technologies.
In addition to the services our members can expect from their professional association, Laborama also aims to be an active partner for the scientific community.
Laborama is also the organiser of the professional trade fair LABORAMA and theme days such as the Lab Automation Day and Life Science Day.
